These terms apply to every order placed with OWEN CHARLES through this website. By placing an order you accept them. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Orders and acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the dispatch confirmation. If an item is out of stock after you order, or listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you before charging and offer a refund or an alternative.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in United States dollars (USD) and include GST where it applies. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider. Card details are handled by that provider; we never see or store the full number.

Product descriptions and sizing

We describe each garment as accurately as we can, including fibre content, measurements taken flat and care instructions. Measurements are taken by hand and may vary by around a centimetre. Screen colour varies, so a garment may look slightly different on your device than in daylight.

Availability

Stock levels shown on the site are updated from our inventory. Where two customers order the last item at the same moment, the order that reaches us first is filled and the other is refunded in full.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs and layout of this site belong to OWEN CHARLES and may not be copied for commercial use without written permission.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for a claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect loss such as lost time or lost opportunity.
